Who are we? Well, we’re three good friends who decided that before we get too old and settled, we were going to set out on a trip of a lifetime to see some of the people and places that (in normal life) we may never get to see.
Emma was the catalyst towards the trip having decided (long ago) that she was going to see Australia whether it was with or without any ‘additional’ travellers. I (Paul) held her up for a few years, telling her that next year we would go, then next year and so on and so forth. Then her brother went and came home with some amazing stories and adventures – well that was it. She was now more determined than ever and with Scatt now on board they booked there tickets in March of this year. I on the other hand was a bit dubious as to whether I could afford the tickets or the money to do the actual travelling, but with some persuassion from Emma, Scatt and my family – I got myself a ticket and handed my resignation in.
So the tickets were booked and we started to let people know where we were going and what we wanted to see. Everyone has been fantastic and really offered their advise to us! We now have a route ‘semi’ planned and you can see this on the ‘our route’ page of this site – or click here.
Since we have booked up we have also found some additional travellers whom we are going to meet at various stages of our Journey, the first of these is Alex who works with Sarah. She will be sharing our first leg of the journey in Thailand. After travelling to China earlier this year, hopefully Alex will be able to provide us with some valuable travelling tips!
Then just before we board our Catamaran in the Whitsundays prior to Christmas we meet up with Lucy, one of Sarahs bestest friends and she will be joining us for the rest of our journey.

It\’s Terri here, Emma\’s mate from college. Emma gave me your website address today to look at. I love the cartoons they are great.
I am soooo jealous of your guys and wish that I was coming with you. I really want to go travelling again. Maybe Ian and I will come out and meet you in Oz or Nz in March/April for a couple of weeks. I could show around the South Island of NZ as that\\\’s where I spent most of my time when I went travelling. Well to be honest we travelled down the south island from Nelson (took about 6 weeks) stopping at various cities and sites on the way. but we only got as far as Queenstown and then we could leave it\\\’s the Ski, boarding and adrenaline captial of NZ. You will love it and I recommend that you get from about June to July ish as that is when the ski season starts and it gets really busy with backpackers there as everyone gos there to Ski. Decos is a good backpackers that takes on long term backpackers and it\\\’s cheap.
There is also a Camp/caravan park there where you casn go it you have a campervan. You can all get bar work,cafe work and Ski work easily I just recommend that you get down their early before all the other backpackers get the jobs. The Girl that I went with in April 2001 loved it so much she is still living out there now 5 years on!!!!!! she works in the Casino in wraft so look her up – her name is Linsday S*******, the locals will all know her. Frasers bar is good for a few beers and the little Alpen supermarket is good for essentials and is where I worked for the 5 months I was there.

Hope you guys are loving it out there, saw the photos and looks like phase one of the trip is going to plan! I take it you haven’t found the bar that sells snake blood yet Paul!!!!!
As you know my e-mail is still packed up can receive but not send!!!
The day after my birthday I had the mother of all hangovers, so you didn’t miss much!! I currently have another one as it was Paul (from Uni’s) birthday do last night.

How are you – Luce emailed me your website it is so good. I havent seen you for so long. I hope you enjoy your travels. It is so amazing!! I am currently setting up AUS and NZ product for my company and may well be out there at some point i will drop you an email if i get any plans fixed up.
Been to phi phi yet?? be careful of the whisky and redbull buckets!!!
