Our route might change dependant on how much fun we are having in a particular Country/Place (If anyone has any suggestions on what we should do at each place, feel free to leave a comment!). But for now the following is the planned itinarary:
- 12 November 2006: Heathrow to Bangkok – 11 hours and 5 minutes.
- 03 December 2006: Singapore to Brisbane – 7 hours and 45 minutes.
- From Brisbane we will be travelling up by whatever means necessary to get to the Whitsundays for Christmas.
- Straight after Chrimbo (Boxing Day ish!), back down to Sydney to catch the New Year celebrations!!
- Work our way counterclockwise around Oz, taking in places like Ayres Rock, Steve Irwin Zoo, Great Barrier Reef, Great Ocean Road, Surfers Paradise, Wave Rock etc…
- 17 April 2007: Sydney to Christchurch – 3 Hours
- Take a look at Milford Sounds, the place where Lord of the Rings was filmed, maybe do a skydive or two, work our way upto Auckland.
- 17 May 2007: Auckland to Fiji – 3 Hours and 5 Minutes.
- 07 June 2007: Fiji to Los Angeles – 10 Hours and 20 Minutes
- Not really doing anything in USA, just waiting for our next flight.
- 07 June 2007: Los Angeles to Heathrow – 10 Hours and 10 Minutes

Paul, just checked out your route i have a cousin whos just moved to AUS with her partner and she lives in brisbane. i will see if she can help u out in anyway with your AUS part of the trip.

Hi just to let you know, when you are in Brisbane a good backpackers place to stay is TinBilly’s! I was a long termer there and they are really nice have tonnes of things on in the eves in the bar, u get free drinks vouchers etc and the rooms are decent too.
Also you HAVE to go to FRASER ISLAND it is excellent!!
